Today, I received many New Year greeting messages from friends and family in China. Instead of the usual “good fortune” or “successful career”, the most common wish is “safe and sound”. Indeed, in face of the deadly coronavirus from Wuhan, nothing is more important than staying healthy and alive. Wuhan has been locked down. Doctors and experts have been sent over to treat patients. People are donating and encouraging each other. If you know anyone who is currently living in China or traveling in other Asian countries, tell them to take necessary protective measures (wearing a mask, wash hands often, to begin with) I hope all my friends and family will be safe. I hope the all patients will be cured and reunite with their family soon. I hope all the doctors who fight at the frontline will return safely. Wish you all a happy New Year, safe and sound. 鼠年平安🐭🙏🏼❤️ #chinesenewyear2020 #wuhanvirus #safeandsound #newyearwishes #平平安安 #tinyeyescomics (at Wuhan, China) https://www.instagram.com/p/B7tCEA2CvWw/?igshid=w6938jaopr5
