AU where Wu is a masked thief (he’s really bad at his job) and Mako is a local vigilante dude who’s on good terms with the local government. They’re hiding their relationship but they suck at it, Mako keeps covering for Wu and Wu just... well, he likes to talk. You know that post about a person being a really good spy accidentally because they overshare but they also have a horrible memory? That’s Wu. (Except he’s a thief in this AU). Kya is the governor and her girlfriend and chief advisor in military matters is Lin and they spend like 90% of their time laughing maniacally as they watch Wu and Mako try to hide their relationship.

Well I mean now that I’ve seen beauty and the beast Zukka. And tangled Wuko. I’m imagining all sorts of Disney Zukka/Wuko aus. Also just folktales, red riding hood Wuko with Wu as hood and mako as the wolf (without the uh- eating grandma ofc) Cinderella Wuko is my favorite so far- don’t even get me STARTED on sleeping beauty.

disney wuko/zukka aus are AMAZING !!! idk i’ve always loved fairytales (maybe since i became obsessed with the lunar chronicles by marissa meyer, oops) but they’re just??? so many possibilities and so amazing !!

cinderella wuko would be so amazing !! although if they have more character development, either wu OR mako could be cinderella and that’s iconic tbh

Innocent Wu locked up in a tower and kept away from his kingdom, Mako stumbling upon the tower, stolen crown in tow, instead of a horse it would be Naga ofc. I have so much more omg
