WUNDER Opening Bash
Bu Cumartesi öncekilere göre biraz daha farklı bir mekanda müzik çaldım. Yaklaşık 2 sene kadar önce Berlin’de yaşayan arkadaşım Emin’in gönderdiği ve benim de çok hoşuma gittiği için Instagram’da paylaştığım bir sticker fotoğrafı sayesinde tanıştığım Can, eşi İlke ve kardeşi Cem ile birlikte Moda’da Wunder isimli bir mağaza açtı. Mağazanın ismini İlke koymuş. Küçük kızları Lila’nın dünyaya gelişi ve onlara yaşattıkları mucizeler sonucu Türkçe’de Mucize anlamına gelen Almanca Wunder ismini koymuş. Ben de bu özel tasarım sneakerlar ve farklı tasarımcıların hazırladığı kıyafetlerin satıldığı mağazanın açılışındaydım. Neredeyse 1 senedir Das Kleine Wunder yazan bir dövme taşıyor olmam, Kreuzberg’de ki Modern Graphics isimli en sevdiğim oyuncak ve çizgi roman mağazasının kapısına yapıştırdıkları sticker ve geçtiğimiz yıl dünya Air Max gününde çalarken tanışmamız… Bunca ortak noktamın olduğu bu güzel insanlarla bağ kurmam şaşırtıcı olmasa gerek. Sticker fotoğrafını bana gönderen Emin’de tesadüfen İstanbul’daydı ve çalmaya beraber gittik. Dönüşümlü olarak 6-7 saat kadar müzik çaldık ve sanki bir açılışta değil de sokak şenliğinde çalıyor gibiydik. Gece indigo’da Kollektiv Turmstrasse ve Alican vardı ama yorgunluktan gidemedik. Tabii Alican’ın Alman ikilinin önüne geçtiğini, kulübün 06:30’da kapanırken halen daha içeride insanların olduğunu duymak beni çok mutlu etti. Biz Cumartesi gecesini Dope isimli komedi filmini izleyerek kapattık. Uzun zaman sonra Cumartesi gecesi evde olmak iyi geldi.
This Saturday my music arena was one of its kind. Almost 2 years ago my friend Emin who lives in Berlin shares a sticker with me and since i am so fond of it i post it on instagram which becomes the reason for us to meet and making us friends. Can, his wife İlke and his brother Cem opens up a new store in Moda called Wunder. İlke dedicated the store's name to their little daughter Lila, her birth and all the miraculous things that have come with her since Wunder means miracle in Turkish. And so there i was in this grand opening of this store which sells special design sneakers and different designers clothing. It seems like it was inevitable for us not to meet considering all the common things that we enjoy so much; my 1 year old "Das Kleine Wunder" tattoo, my most favorite comic book and toy store's sticker that they put on their door's, last year's Air Max festival attendance of both of us. By chance Emin who sent me the sticker was in İstanbul as well so we went to play together. We have played for 6 to 7 hours by taking turns and it was more like playing at a street festival than playing in a store. It was Kollektiv Turmstrasse and Alican night at Indigo but since we were worn off we couldn't go. But learning that Alican's music surpassing the duo and although it was 6.30 am and Indigo was closing there were still fans who refused to go made me proud and happy. We end up watching Dope on Saturday night after such a long time being home on Saturday was priceless.
