Chongyun at Wuwang Hill ❄️
The new event is kind of funny
1. Dawn Winery
Diluc probably got annoyed that his winery became one of the location. The yelling, the kids climbing up his winery's wall, not to mention the footsteps on the roof and the players flying around. Let's not forget the poor grapevines being trampled over.
2. Qingce village
Well, only old people here, and the game was kn the field, not the village proper. So it's fine. Unless you are the one house within the game field, then you probably have people climbing up the trees or your rooftop.
3. Springvale (I forgot, is this the right name?)
Literally the entire village was the gamefield. From the windmill, to the spring, to the village's house. The people here seems rather relaxed, so I think they'll enjoy watching the players chasing each other or hiding in random place.
4. Wuwang hill
No people here, but the spirits hanging around here probably making a bet on which ridiculous hiding place the rebels found.
Spirit 1: Oh, new batch of player
Spirit 2: Is that, lord Rex Lapis?
Spirit 1: Sshh, we don't mention that. Let him play, he is retired now
Spirit 2: I can see his butt....
Spirit 1: Ssssshhhhhhh
3. Dragonspine
The players probably cursed whoever make this place a game area. It's cold, then there is water which makes it extra cold. The good hiding place was far away from the fire. It legit the worst place to play. They still play anyway.

The Test of Cuddles
A/N: haha get it because test of courage but u want to cuddle him instead hahahaha I’m so funny look at my skills
No but really I’m so sorry this is so late! I hope you enjoy it. Remember that Chongyun will be available for contact for the next 48 hours (I gave a free day) I love our icy boy very much and can only hope I’ve done him justice.
They go to the Wangshu Inn afterward, as a stopover on the way home.
Pairing: Chongyun x Gn!reader
Warnings: N/A
Requested by: @plainicetea
Prompt: You go to a haunted house with Chongyun- it’s not scary to you at all. But he doesn’t know that, since you really want an excuse to cling to him.
When Chongyun asked you to come with him to the Test of Courage, you knew it wasn’t because he was asking you to hang out. He never just hung out unless it was at the Wanmin Restaurant or judging poetry contests between Xingqiu and Hu Tao.
Still, you did your best to make it a date.
You agreed to investigate, of course, but only if he didn’t expect much of it. “It sounds like an advertisement for a haunted house. Those never have real ghosts.”
“Do people really attend these?” He was taken aback by that fact.
“Yes.”
“Why?”
“To strengthen the bond between the people going. Perhaps because they find it fun. For the thrill.”
He blinked. “So being scared is… a form of entertainment to them?”
“Precisely.”
Chongyun crossed his arms, face set. “We should investigate anyway, just in case they miscalculated. It’s Wuwang Hill.”
“Okay.” You smiled at him, and offered your hand. “Now, or later?”
He responded by tugging you along the path out of the Wangshu Inn as the sun began to set.
Along the way, you had to explain the various mechanics of haunted houses and what you anticipated.
Your beloved looked more and more confused.
Upon arriving at the Test, you were prompted to take a drink that was meant to “increase yang energy.”
No one was allowed in without at least one participant drinking it, and you knew Chongyun couldn’t.
You dragged him here, after all, and it wouldn’t be fair to get him sick too.
You weren’t afraid, obviously. But it was kind of odd to have to drink a strange, unlabeled substance. It made you a bit uneasy.
Chongyun’s eyes met yours, and he saw your hesitation clearly.
So, you drank it.
He wanted to investigate, and so you would help him.
You’d always be by his side.
That was your job, wasn’t it? You were his significant other, after all.
Ew. The person at the booth said the drink was good. It was very much not. It was disgusting.
Chongyun offered you his hand, and you accepted with a smile. Simple gestures like that were enough to clear the dark clouds from your skies. The sunshine he carried with him towards you was immeasurable, no matter whether it was conscious or not.
Still, you were a bit on edge the whole way. What was that “potion” going to do to you? Did it have long-term effects? Would you survive long enough to get home? Did it actually work? What was happening? Was there something behind you?
Something brushed against your ankle, and you yelped. You quickly found yourself jumping into your boyfriend’s arms, clinging to him.
“What? What is it? What’s wrong?”
“I…” you trailed off, realizing it was a fern. A fern. You were in the woods. What had you expected? “It’s nothing. I’m just a little jumpy. That drink is kind of unsettling.”
“Is it? Sorry I made you deal with that…”
“It’s okay.” You cuddled close to him, relishing in his comfortable hold.
He smiled, absolutely willing to do this forever. But alas, time does not work that way. “We have to go.”
You frowned, but understood. You two had come to investigate, after all.
Though the two of you separated, he kept an arm around your shoulder the whole time.
You felt safer now, and the anxiety had all but worn off, but you missed his touch.
As you came upon the abandoned buildings, an idea popped into your mind. Your eyes glinted mischievously.
There was a strange puff of smoke in front of you, and you immediately clung to him. “What was that?”
Excuse: generated. You could now cling to him a bit more.
He held you close as he investigated. “Something’s wrong. Signs of an evil spirit”
His excitement brought the nicest smile to his face, and it made you giggle, too.
You did this a couple more times, each time finding a new clue to make his eyes light up.
You two tracked the spirit together, but your performance began to deteriorate as your energy went down.
By the time you’d finally found that it was gone, you were sure he’d caught on. He let you cling to him as you walked and as you investigated without having to do much.
“I don’t think we should come back to this ‘test of courage’.” He admitted.
You looked to him, confused. “I thought you would want to investigate more another time.”
“But it scared you. I think it was the drink. You normally aren’t this nervous.”
You stared at him for a moment, and then broke into a grin. Your darling, lovable, gullible boyfriend still hadn’t gotten it.
You pulled him close, letting him cuddle close to you. “I wasn’t afraid. I was pretending, because I wanted an excuse to be close to you.”
“Oh.” He chuckled lightly. “You don’t need an excuse for that!”
A lone spirit that resides on Wuwang Hill. While I was not able to interact with the specter myself, my traveling companion was able to approach and even speak with her. She is not at all malevolent, and I did not see the need for an exorcism. She was, however, profoundly bothered by my yang energy. Apparently even benevolent spirits can not stand my presence.
After months of procrastinating I have finally finished sketching this artwork I call a masterpiece
It took me quite some time to finish it cause I couldn't find it in myself to finish it but today I did it and I'm pretty proud of myself on how it turned out. I took a screenshot of a place in wuwang Hill in a game called genshin impact cause I found mysterious and very alluring to explore.
(ignore how bad my graphics are. It was on mobile (. _.))
Anyways.... Let me know you're thoughts on how I can improve my sketch \ (^ - ^) / 🎉🎉🎉
