as of 3 am on the night of saturday, september 15th, the party held by alpha sigma phi has been shut down. the police, responding to a noise complaint, determined that there were too many counts of underage drinking and drug use and took measures. the west valley faculty has been informed, and as of monday, september 17th, the status of alpha sigma phi is still being discussed, as they were on their final strike.

wyatt ewing, a suspect in the murder of fellow student riley grey, has been released from police custody only days after being arrested. though the authorities seemed confident enough to interrupt wvu’s spring formal, it seems they had the wrong student. ewing declined to comment, but the chief of police was more than willing...

in light of some new “evidence” supplied to the police by an anonymous tip, wyatt has been released from custody. the police are being very evasive when answering questions, but everyone is considerably riled up about this. accusing a student of murder was bad enough, but the wrong student? the administration is under fire from many a concerned parent and everyone is on edge. annie will tell you more.
in preparation for the roaring twenties spring formal this weekend, we’re taking ballots for this semester’s king and queen! nominations are students who are in their junior and senior year.

this morning, a news blast swept social media and shocked every student and teacher on campus. riley grey, really murdered? who thought this could have happened here? but to some, it’s not so surprising.

now that new evidence has been found, the police plan to ask questions of anyone who might have been involved. that’s right, kids... that means you. below, you’ll find a list of interrogation questions to be answered in-character for every character over the next three days (from Friday-Monday). this is a high-stakes plot drop, so please make your answers more than just a few words! a short drabble involving a police officer or a format like our application would be perfect. you can find examples on wyatt, amelie, and isabella’s blogs.

we’d also like to remind you that some of your characters are connected with riley in unexpected ways. below is a list of connections that you should keep in mind. also remember that while riley was a good student and well-known on campus, he was hard to get along with and pursued girls with a ferocity considered “creepy” (he saw himself as a casanova that he certainly wasn’t). he was entitled, had a “holier-than-thou” attitude, and a rough temper. he only got along well with close friends. he was extremely well-off and his family funneled a lot of money into WVU but he didn’t get along with his father.
riley asked isabella out during their freshman year. she went on two dates with him before growing disinterested. he continued to text her since and he was an object of ridicule among her friend group (odette, rhiannon, candice).
he was a member of asp along with lucas, kayden, tristen, and damien. he partied often and was fairly messy.
he was lab partners with dakota.
hooking up with riley one time started daisy’s reputation as "easy”.
his family was close friends with the carswell family. despite the fact that the two of them grew apart as they got older, riley, remy and amelie played together often as children.
skyler and riley had a mutual understanding. riley opened up to skyler once and they were good friends.
riley was treasurer on the student council with taylor and avery. he often disagreed with a lot of initiatives and was hard to work with, but he was good at what he did.
riley and leia dated for a few months sophomore year.
kacie hooked up with him once freshman year? she thinks? he was probably the guy that kept calling and she eventually got annoyed with - and blocked.
joey did not get along with riley at all. riley was often quite rude to him and in their youth, riley used to call him names and make fun of him.
what’s college without a party every night of the week?`now, no one’s saying you have to go, but everyone could use a chance to relax. somebody in the mcallister dorm decided to throw a little get-together so everybody could chill out, but like all west valley parties, things can tend to get out of hand. annie knows that better than anybody. get ready, west valley. every day is threatening when you’re keeping such big secrets.
