After Party

asp party aftermath.
he’d been arrested after the asp party. it wasn’t a fun time, and he’d been worried the entire time that they’d look up his name and find out that he’s here on a visa.
but before the detectives would let him go, they had a few questions. (under the cut.)
as of 3 am on the night of saturday, september 15th, the party held by alpha sigma phi has been shut down. the police, responding to a noise complaint, determined that there were too many counts of underage drinking and drug use and took measures. the west valley faculty has been informed, and as of monday, september 17th, the status of alpha sigma phi is still being discussed, as they were on their final strike.
**if you would like your character to have been arrested, please send a message to this blog. an update will be posted within the next few days with more information and character development questions.
Lily looked around the party and normally she would be one of those people dancing their hearts out and finding someone to hang out during the night, but she couldn’t bring her energy up. The text rattled her and she knew it would be stuck in her mind. She needed something to distract her and everybody knew that at parties, no matter what there would be alcohol. It just a matter of finding out where. After searching in the kitchen for a few minutes, Lily finally found something to drink.
A couple of refills later, Lily achieved her goal of forgetting the mysterious text and was finally enjoying the party. She walked in the crowd, swinging her hips to the music when she saw her roommate Lyanna talking to someone. Lily stumbled her way to Lyanna and swung her arm around Lyanna’s shoulder. “ Heyyy roomie!” Lily slurred, ignoring the other person.” Look what I found!” Lily shoved her drink into Lyanna’s face so she could see what was inside.

Hazel eyes scanned the dance floor, searching for the soft curls of Lyanna’s hair. The previous song had ended, the upbeat 20’s music hammering in his ears now. There was no sign of her, Ian pulling someone aside to inquire about where she could possibly be. The answer he received wasn’t confident, but it was more than what Ian had to go off of. His feet carried him across the dance floor, attempting to avoid the mass of bodies as they swayed around him.
The metal was cold against his hands, the door swinging open to the stairwell of West Valley. His eyes lingered on the stairs, the after hour lights so faint. One by one, he took himself to the roof, mind set on the greenhouse. It was better to try than to not try at all, in his opinion. If only he could apply that to himself.
Lyanna stood there, dress kissing her hips in just the right fashion. The purple popped against her skin, Ian standing starstruck for a moment as he took her in amongst the flowers. Wisteria kissed her shoulder, gently held onto her curls in an effort of begging her not to go. It seemed fitting, Ian remembering the wisteria his mother hung near their doorway when they found out about the cancer. ‘Feng Shui- a silent source of encouragement during doubt, a kiss of honor,’ she had said, trying to hide the break in her voice.
“Too many people?” Ian asked, his voice carrying gently, an attempt to not disturb such a sacred place in his mind. Lyanna had wandered, not letting Ian know that she needed a moment to herself. He hoped he wasn’t disturbing- hoped he wasn’t intruding on something that should just be hers. Something felt off in the air, his fingers twitching as he dug them deeper in his pockets.
rhiannon was so happy to have power back in the house. naturally, everyone new the outage started in odette’s room, but she was doing her best to avoid passive aggresive comments and just have a good time, back in her house, at a party with good people.
“i’m so glad you could make it!” she greeted with a hug. she’d had a little punch and was feeling rather friendly. “how are you?”
Leia had been drinking punch all night. Too much punch. She was past tipsy and once she got to this point, she was more outgoing and uninhibited than ever. Not many people had seen her this way, but everyone would now.
Leia had caught a glimpse of some glances exchanged across the room and her ultra-bubbly-punch-spurred personality couldn’t help it. She just had to speak up. She ran over to the stranger and tapped them on the shoulder, leaning in to half-giggle and half-whisper, “Hey, see that guy over there?” She pointed, indiscreetly. “He’s totally been eyeing you up! I just thought you should know, just in case you’re into him, because you’re both super cute.”
it was barely an hour in and kacie was already drunk. stumbling around the room all giggles and falls. slamming into another reveller she was quick to apologise. “whoops my bad” she grinned raising her bottle of scotch “wanna share?”
