What you can’t see is that I’m nested in a 15x15 yard piece of silk. Gabe still thinks we’re using it in the show, but it’s my home.
What do I do for a living? Oh I sit on top of a bus and yell at children.
My tribe (yes Julia did sneak a whole tree branch into this shot).
Anddddd we tied so now we’re going into overtime. COOL, I love sitting outside in the middle of the night in December watching high school football.
... though DubVee does an excellent chant about the kids who like to cheat on the maroon side of town ;)
(Also yes I know this is one of the best outdoor performance venues in the country and blah blah but it’s colddddd and my kids are hiding in a bathroom)
It’s never good when I show up and they’re already outside... plotting.
My kids have lights sewn into their costumes so when the arena lights went out we were just fine. That’s just me being prepared. ;)
Happy States!
Because I need entertainment at band camp (and I’d like to distract them from wanting to drown themselves and one another), I had my kids do a talent show. If you’ll notice, their sign up sheet is... advanced proficient. Also please note that Fernando is not my student, and their act involved a toaster oven.
