Tutor Tuesday:
West Virginia University was closed last week for the holidays, so we reluctantly missed a previous Tutor Tuesday. Today we have two tutors to recognize, our lovely Emily and Erin.
Emily is an undergraduate, Biochemistry major. Her favorite quote is: "We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars."
Erin is an undergraduate, Multidisciplinary Studies and Child Development Double Major. Her favorite quote is: "Have courage and be kind”- Cinderella
Tutor Tuesday (Round 3):
Today, our featured consultant is our lovely Anna. She is an undergraduate consultant pursuing a major in both History and English.
One of her favorite quotes: "If there is such a thing as genius, I am one. And if there isn't, I don't care." - John Lennon
Tutor Tuesday (Round 2)
Today's featured consultant is Amy, a Communication Studies Major. She is one of our public speaking consultants; come see her before you have a presentation to give.
One of her favorite quotes: "Only those who will risk going too far can find out how far one can go.”
“Which one are you?”

Quick Tip:
When writing, do you find your verb tenses shifting?
Read through your paper once over to check for verb errors (Proofreading never hurts!). With all writing, there should be consistency (FOR EXAMPLE: a narrative should have consistent verb tenses, so the story can be followed).
If you are writing in the past tense, it should all be in past tense
