Wolfwood Wednesday HC: He loves to ruffle people's hair. It's like when you see something cute and just want to squeeze it, he sees someone cute and wants to ruffle their hair. Sometimes he'll sneak up behind you as quiet as he can and ruffle your hair as a greeting.

I imagine he loves how annoyed you get. He thinks it's cute when you yell at him about messing up your hair, and just stands there and smiles while you glare at him. Once you get your hair all neat again, he'll ruffle it up one more time. He's kind of an asshole, but he can't help himself. You're just so cute!

Text: thinking about it. faellan is probably weirdly groomed for a ww. waxing for some reason? truly something wrong with him. like the alternative is that he was born relatively hairless but he's a ww so... probably just bcos its something ww shamans do and both his parents were shamans so he just thinks its a normal thing to do

Text: Yule is the ruler of the werewolves on the moon, the progenitor species of the werewolves on Earth. A long time ago, some of her people were curious about the planet the moon orbited and went down with her permission but never returned. Thus, she forbade more from leaving so that nobody would die. She waits for the missing werewolves to return till present day. 

The progenitor werewolves are true werewolves that can turn into wolves by will as long as they have the power from the moon. This power is not moonlight, thus those on the moon can change forms whenever, and the werewolves on earth who are much farther away from the moon and receive less power, adapted to have a different transformation.

Text: Yeah since I do think wws have traditional tattoos.

For theirs I remember wanting to show how Midon was the son of a lord + connection to the moon as wws + connection to the sky/stars since nobles are extremely related to that. They all are pretty basic too since Midon left the community to live alone and thus wouldn't have gotten more as his life went along, and the twins aren't wws. Also heavy emphasis on symmetry for them because nobles/the expectations on Midon, but I imagine the level of symmetry differs, with a lot less for older wws who have a lot more and only the basic tattoos are symmetrical while the ones added as they age are not.

Yeah so the most decked out wws tattoo wise should be lords and shamans though all wws get basic tattoos, some as they get older, and some for whatever jobs or major things they do. Idk about Maduke, but Muzaka would be an exception to the tattoos thing and would probs only have the basics since he's always out and about so they can't get him to get more lol.

Text: Wws mature and are adults within a human lifespan (so somewhere btwn 60-80 years idk). Ashleen would have been an adult at maybe 25-35 years since hybrid with human which is why it wasn't particularly noticeable with her.
