has anybody thought abt the fact the dark spear is “scared” of raizel. Has anybody been normal about that

Raizel as Noblesse has a greater dominion over people, and thus their souls, then anyone aside from perhaps the Lord that we can see in canon. This makes him pretty much one of the few actual threats against Dark Spear who has previously only been controlled by Frankenstein. Not even threatened in any way, just kept under control, and even that is fragile. Meanwhile, Raizel can actually affect Dark Spear and it very much does live under the constant fear that he will eliminate it if it gets out of control because it's already experienced him suppressing it and he very much would do it. Nobody else has exerted such power over the amalgamation of countless souls, yet he can simply tell Frankenstein to not use it and it will fester within him with no chance of getting out.

Combine that with Raizel sensing Dark Spear from the beginning and thus always keeping an eye on it, and then the blood bond? Raizel is like a grim reaper hovering over its shoulder at any given moment. I imagine it would also fear the lords if they stepped in to suppress it but they haven't and so Dark Spear doesn't have the sense to also fear them.

Rai’s bro would be the same as he was (that we’ve seen) and would have longer hair due to it being centuries since he died (and so we can tell the difference between him and Rai)

He would do anything for his brother and would do anything should his brother ask. Unfortunately, that means he’d probably let everyone else in the world suffer so his brother can live.

Text: Or of how the noblesse' sanctuary is only for the noblesse in that only they can be healed by it. When they are of age, a statue of their truest essence shall be erected as a gift to their descendants in the largest shared sanctuary (for there are shared halls that belong to the noblesse all over the world). A reminder of the parent that adored them. And the shared sanctuary itself! There are different ways to heal. The first is to simply remain within the walls normally. It is the weakest method, the slowest, and the easiest. The noblesse can communicate as their wounds recover, only physically of course as it's impossible to regain lifeforce in any way aside from bloodstones. The second is to use a personal sanctuary as with the coffin Raizel has, though a personal sanctuary's appearance and method differs from noblesse to noblesse. ur-Hulda's is a pond and she sleeps at the bottom, unreachable, since personal sanctuaries cannot be breached and so no matter how deep or for how long one dives, they will not disturb her rest. Draconis rests upon clouds, forever drifting away, just out of reach and yet within sight. A personal sanctuary has the noblesse dimly aware of their state even as they sleep though they are unaware of the passage of time, and it is they who choose when to wake. They heal moderately, in both time and intensity, and can at least react in the worst of situations though they cannot communicate. Then there is the third method. To sleep within the sanctuary. When one decides to sleep, the sanctuary will wrap them in the light of the lords and drain them of their essence so they become like statues as to heal every little bit about them. The not-statue is at the bottom of a giant hourglass suspended in the air which slowly drips their essence back onto them. How long does it take until the last drop comes down? As long as it takes for the noblesse to be completely fixed up. And when that last drop drips through to the not-statue that is completely drowned, the light of the lords runs through the essence so it may seep back inside and wake the noblesse. It is the fastest of the methods yet the slowest and worst. To heal one scratch the entire body is treated. None can talk to the noblesse, and the noblesse too is unaware of all.

Text: Amp up angst by making noblesse sanctuaries stay behind after their noblesse dies because it's just the world remembering and mourning them (so not Aayushis lounge chair but thats probably for the best). So huldas pond in the spot where she last rested as she waited for draconis to come so she could enter eternal sleep. Xuvus cocoon and raizels coffin in the noblesse estate somewhere. Preechas tree growing forever ancient in some forest. Draconis' clouds floating ever on. Nadines cottage rendering its surroundings into an unrecognisable fae realm.

I’d say everything is going well: for the trio, I’ve decided to use more shading on the hair—I experimented with Takeo—because the design relies heavily on black and gray tones, so I need to add a bit of life to it. That’s why Tao’s hair has a bluish tint instead of the usual charcoal; I’ll add lighter highlights later, and I’ll do the same for M21. Above all, I have to paint everyone’s skin, and I’m studying the manhwa to understand the skin tone differences between the various characters... It certainly won’t be easy. The next update will be once the work is completely finished, including the protective clear coat ^^
