"Come on lads, let's give jerry a real what for."

So this is the big project that I alluded to before, or at least one half of it. It's a whole bunch of 15mm Brits for Flames of War. Specifically 33 bases and 123 infantry models to be precise.
It's a "commission" project for a friend of my brother. I'm putting that in quotes since I'm doing it for free, or for various side benefits at least.
Painting 15mm is nice, because while you could put down a lot of effort on them, you really don't need to do so. In total I used eight base colors, a wash and four highlight colors to paint them. Not to mention they go down really fast once you got the pattern down. At which point most of the hold up is waiting for the shading to dry.
The biggest lesson I've learned is that I'm probably going to paint the base rim before I add the static grass for next time.
But now I'm going to take a breather with another model before I wrap up the other half, which is the artillery, AT guns and vehicles. Which means I finally get to paint some tanks again. Yay.
