Humble Beginnings
"Excuse me, You are Herr Strauss correct? My name is Anton Arcane. Pleasure to meet you."
((I'm writng this is WW2verse-style)) Julie cried, yelled, bit and crawled... but nothing helped. They didn't want her to come closer. "No! I need to get there! Let me go!" Tears were streaming down her face as she finally got to make her way through the crowd. But there came soldiers, ready for those cases and dragged her back. ((Don't judge me, that was harder than I thought!!))
((No worries!))
It was as if nothing registered in his mind any longer. Enjolras was a known traitor to the German army, a known traitor to the country, and he wasn't meant to survive having gone against the very land he called home. Little else mattered now that he'd been caught; he was going to die, and nothing was going to change that.
There were pleas in the crowd, he could hear them, alongside the cheers and support for the death of a traitor. Many knew him; many knew him as a good man; few truly wished to see him perish. He only hoped... He only hoped Julie would not be there, that she would not see him perish in such a fashion.
With his hands tied behind his back, his stance straight, his head tilted up proudly, Enjolras focused his eyes on the men that had been chosen for the firing squad. Many averted their eyes; he knew some of their faces. There, Javert. There, Hadley. There, Thenardier. Others, he knew not; their eyes still turned away; they were young, too much so for such a task.
The blindfold was offered, and refused. His jaw squared itself almost instinctively, making him shake his head and straighten himself again proudly. "Down with Hitler. May the Allies fini-"
The rapport sounded before his words had even finished. With a plume of red as the bullets pierced him, Enjolras's body fell to the ground before the crowd; a traitor of the country, downed and executed in the name of the Nazi party.
WW2verse
Name: Juliette (Julie, Jules) Marot Age: 19 Period: World war 2 Character description: Julie is a young nurse who can't be surprised by anything anymore. She actually hates her job, making routine checks for the german soldiers. (And the fact that she can't see blood has nothing to do with it.) On a casual work, day she meets a man called Niklas. And she can't help it, but tries the impossible. She wants him to understand their- no - her point of view.
//Okay... L has already made so much for our verse and I did nothing so far. I should describe Julie, I guess...

His breath was shallow, choked and with the slight wetness that accompanied the blood that was starting to pool in his mouth, as he looked up at the girl who had knelt beside him. The confusion on his face was evident. This was their hometown, he was supposed to be safe here, they weren't supposed to recognize him... He'd hidden so well...
An anguished cry passed his lips as the girl tried to put pressure on the wound, the slight touch making his entire body tense as he writhed to attempt to escape it. The writhing just made him feel more pain, more anguish, and he stopped quickly, his throat gasping for breath again. He could almost tell... He was going to die, there was no escaping it. He'd never make this up to Gavroche... If he met the boy again in whatever afterlife remained, he was certain the little one wouldn't forgive him for failing to save him, failing to save his sister.
Swallowing down a mouthful of blood and letting out a whine, Henri took a long moment to look up at Julie again, a shaking, bloody hand moving to grip the front of her shirt. "At my old c-c-camp... There's a girl there, her name is E... Eponine. Find her, get her out, p-p-please... D-d-d-do that for me."
The panic on the girl's face, the tears streaming down it, told Henri that he was exactly correct; he was going to die here. With another shaky, blood-wet breath, he swallowed and spoke again. "I d-d-d-didn't get t-t-t-t-to tell you that I love you," he murmured weakly, giving her a small smile. "But I d-d-d-do. D-d-d-don't forget me. I'll miss you."
The last words were solid, definite and honest. And with a final, shaking breath, Henri went still, his eyes still open and looking up at her, though the fire that had always made them light up in the past was now dulled, empty, gone.

WWII!Verse: Guardian
Enjolras is extremely protective of children. He has no particular reasoning for it, he just is. So when he meets a little Gavroche through the fence at one of the early concentration camps... It makes him start questioning the side that he's on more so than he already had been.
