I guess that maxim about “it’s always darkest before the dawn” is true.

I was extremely emotional and feeling very negative about my job prospects yesterday, and then today I had a great interview and I got offered a teaching position in first grade (which I would absolutely love!!!!).

While I’m so happy today and it’s a huge load off of my mind, I know that I need to continue working on my self-esteem so that I focus more on my strengths and positive attributes than my weaknesses. And I’m going to take steps in that direction, and now that I’m likely about to accept this job, I will have health benefits and I can actually start going to counseling to work on this.
