My day 7 for wwpride! its the free day! So i did take this opportunity to remind people of my obsession with the entities by creating funky little symbols for them! there's also like a smaller version of the symbol meant to replicate a logo or rune for that entity
this is really not pride related at all but,,,,them,,,,,,,,
individual symbols with my reasoning/thoughts below! all below the cut except knowledge (i dont have a favorite entityyyy nooooo)
Knowledge
A feather quill writing some unknow message down is the symbol I choose to make for knowledge. A writing implement is very tied to knowledge at least to me as you use is to share knowledge via writings or retain learned knowledge by writing it down.
Yes the thing its writing down is a actual message lmao
"did you make a entire language for this?" you might ask,
no of course not! that would be silly! i just had this one lying around bc im so normal about codes and cyphers and such. I originally made this language in middle school during math class so..... take that how u will lmao.
Destruction
ok so fire is a pretty standard symbol of destruction but it is a fitting one. I choose to make it a soul fire because of the connection to the nether and how soul fire can only be obtained from nether soul sand or soil. I think it fitsss
Creation/Hope
Plant growth is also one of the more common things tied to creation but i think a seed germinating and growing its first shoot fits for both creation and hope! Obviously the growth of the new sprout is tied to creation but also seeds germinating is a thing that brings hope to people in the spring after a long winter! seeing the little sprout shows people that spring is coming and everything will be green again soon!
Conflict
Ok so conflict is tied to the void which to me also kinda means the abyss? so i made this symbol a spiral that is meant to look like its made out of the void ink! To me a spiral is started at the thinest point and ends at the center so this represents spiraling into the void with no way to get out much like conflict is easy to fall into but far more difficult to get out of.
Balance
so balance is really tied to the end thus i made an eye of ender one of the focal points of this symbol. to me the eye is more a symbol of the end while the scales are the symbol of balance. I feel like the choice of scales to represent balance is fairly basic but why mess with perfection? /silly
Consequence
Consequence was really difficult to find a symbol for. I started with a idea of rot or tendrils but i felt that was to basic and more the voids and creations thing. I eventually landed on a barbed hook with no bait on it bc i didnt know what to put for a bait lmao. The hook represents consequence to me because if you take the bait it offers you will face the consequence of becoming stuck by the barbs on the hook and whatever baited the hook now has you. I had a better explanation but im eepyyyy so shhhhh.
Stasis
Stasis or The In Between, this symbol is a clock at 3:00. A clock is frequently used as a indication of something messing with time in pop culture and a frozen clock is stopped time. And what is stasis if a stoppage? The time is 3 o clock and each number up to 3 has some visual change to represent a change that happened in the in between and where it currently is. I mayyy have missed some changes sorry i did try my best. The 12 has just a tiny little X crystal to represent the crack that Jay fixed when Z.N escaped, the 1 has void goop on it from the time Jay bleed into the ink and the IB forced it out of them both, the 2 is full of X cracks like the in between was during the whole Blake ordeal, and finally the 3 is shiny and colorful like the in between is right now!
