Those novel gadgets that cook your dinner, accomplish household miracles and upgraded into becoming "smart device" capable. We all enjoy a good pitch. Right? But if re-run commercials have you singing their jingles, then steampunk improvisation is the fix. Did you know; during the Victorian era, "rotten tomatoes" aren't a review, but something you threw ? In the 19th Century, traveling shows sold everything from appliances to snake oil remedies. The pitchman's vernacular was often comedic and satirical. Perhaps the best medicine was humor. The typical pitch might sound like this: Good friends, gather close !! Don't be shy !! In this ordinary looking bottle is the Prestigious, Phenomenal, Proven, Preventive, Purifying, Panacean, Patent Pending, “Panther’s Potion” ! The remedy for all diseases, evils, or difficulties.
