College Radio Day is Coming October 3rd

WXAV is getting all geared up for College Radio Day. We are still in the middle of planning all of the excitement for the day, but we can officially announce that we will air interviews with: Matt Kelly from the Dropkick Murphys, Andrew W.K., and The Belle Brigade. In fact the Belle Brigade were so cool that they gave us an alternative version of Likely to Use Something. Here's the original version. Listen on Oct 3 to hear the alternative take.

Fall Programming Schedule

WXAV is pleased to announce that beginning on September 7th we will begin airing brand new episodes of SUSPENSE...the modern revival of this classic radio series. New episodes will debut Sundays at 10amCST and will re-air Mondays at 11pmCST

Additionally WXAV will debut a 8 part radio series entitled: Joe Strummer's London Calling. Back in the late 90s and early 00s the legendary Clash frontman had his own radio series on the BBC World Service. Joe Strummer's London Calling took re-edited some of these broadcasts together with commentary from the likes of Tom Morello and Jon Langford.
