Dean hadn't really been one to think about high school, even during high school. He'd gotten out of that place and just gone to college as long as necessary to get his degree to work for Bobby's shop and then never thought about school again. Sam kept on going and did all of his smart things, and Dean preferred to stay in the background.

He had made some friends in high school while he was there, sure, but he hadn't really wanted to go back to the reunion when they got the letter in the mail asking him. Sam had told him he had to, backed up with an agreeing glare from a girlfriend, Jessica.

So Dean found himself walking into the school that he had tried to get out of as fast as he could (sort of voluntarily) to see people he should have gotten to know better. The man put his hands into his pockets as he stepped through, scanning the crowd.

A lot had changed.
