"I'm not dead, am I?" //it was from a set of hospital starters
Gin woke up, mid snore and opened her eyes at the sound of Kelly’s voice. “Huh--No. You’re alive.” She muttered and rubbed her eyes.

For McGee, if you're okay with it - ‘💍’
Send me ‘💍’ for our muses to wake up married after a night of heavy drinking
Tim groaned, flinging his arm over his eyes to try and block out the painful light that was peeking through the curtains of the... where the hell was he, anyway? Bracing himself for the inevitable pain that comes from one too many shots of... whatever it was he’d been drinking the night before, he opened his eyes and took in his surroundings. He was in a small, poorly lit hotel room, the kind of place that you hesitated to actually stay at for fear of finding a corpse hidden away underneath the bed. The bed which Tim was currently laying on in the rumpled remains of a powder blue tuxedo, something out of a bad 80s flashback. On the bed next to him was a still sleeping woman, her back to him. He moved to shake her awake, freezing when a golden band on his ring finger sparked in the dim light. A wedding ring? What had happened last night?
“Oh boy...”
Kelly has died

The first thing that strikes her is that Gibbs never knew about his daughter. He didn’t want her to grieve for Kelly a second time, so she keeps her mouth shut. When she finally makes it home from the funeral she sits there and cries.
She doesn’t cry just for her loss, but for Gibbs’ loss. She cries because Kelly never got to be a Gibbs again. She cries for hours until she finally has the guts to tell Gibbs, stumbling on to his doorstep at one in the morning, sober as a judge.

Jordan was planning to catch up with some old friends in D.C. when he saw a kidnapping. He called his friends to reschedule and instead followed the van. Using his training, he followed the van. Keeping back far enough to not draw too much attention, yet close enough to make sure he didn’t lose them.
When they pulled in, he stopped a short distance away, getting out and moving to the trunk to grab a few things. After suppressing his pistol and moving it from the small of his back to his hip, he grabbed sniper rifle, and a kevlar vest for the woman they’d kidnapped. When he moved to shut the compartment, he paused for a moment, pulling out a second pistol and slipping it into his pocket, just in case.
Once he’d done that, he closed both the compartment and the trunk, moving to an overwatch position, to see how how the area was defended. Laying down to get a stable position, he used the rifle to look at the situation.

“I just feel like I’m not meant to be part of the team. All of them have so much field experience and I’m over here, fumbling guns when I shoot them and almost mishandling evidence. I wasn’t even trained for NCIS like they were.”
