I writing evil or nearly evil characters more fun than writing good guys. I’m sick of feeling like people are going to judge me for my characters. I have a right to rp what I want and explain my characters actions, but not try to justify them. Because I know why a character acts a certain way doesn’t mean I think they are excused. The world isn’t black and white.
I still love the idea of TFW having to do "undercover" social media accounts for a case.
They have to learn to strip their EXIF data/location and not include personal identifiers, so most of them pick "special interests" to be online about. For Jack, it's zombies and dead things and plants and fungi (rotting wood, mushrooms). For Sam it's graphics with carefully curated, seasonally-inspired serial killers stats. For Cas it's completely random (2 followers), and Dean...
...Dean goes viral once he starts posting cropped photos of Cas's hands doing everyday things.

Emma reached for Jack's hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. "I know you did," she assured. "Sometimes good intentions unintentionally lead to bad outcomes... it's kind of a part of the whole human thing... or, well, human 'adjacent' in our case."

The pain of that rejection was so strong it was nearly a physical thing. "I suppose if that's how you really feel... then there's nothing I can do about it."
Sure, Lucifer hadn't been the greatest dad so far - it wasn't as if he had a good role model to look up to, after all. Mistakes had definitely been made (but who hadn't made mistakes, right?). "I just... I was hoping we could get to know each other better, is all."
Dean had fought the things nightmare's are afraid of and come back, he'd lost parts of himself, his soul and still come back because above everything Dean is a solider. A fighter first like hell would he give up.
Standing before an old enemy now seemingly having the upper hand Dean wondered if this is how he felt. Did lucifer stand in his shoes feeling this much power?
The hunters features darken as he thought of every little way Lucifer had ruined him, his brother and their family. If lucifer hadn't needed a vessel, If the yellow eyed demon hadn't wanted a soldier, so many stories started or ending here with god's favourite outcast pulling the strings. Least that's how Dean saw it.
" You're human? "
Blade now lowered but not away Dean eyed the other man over. Now they were the same but not equal, no Dean was now the big bad in the room but he had his morals. Actively fighting them against shoving his hunting knife into Lucifer's heart was another story but so far Dean was managing.
" Lotta hunters will be lookin' to settle a score if word gets out, You can thank your hell spawn for that "
Looking down at the display of weakness he never thought he'd see Dean sighed. He wouldn't take out a poor wounded animal, not like this it wasn't fair. It wasn't humane.
" Who else knows? Think hard before you lie, I still might put you down "
Lucifer flinched at the word 'human'. The archangel had long thought of humanity as his Father's treasured pets, but this pain and the heavy weight of exhaustion he felt dragging down on him were far from the gifts he had imagined that had been heaped upon the creatures. Was this how his Sam felt every day? It gave an even heavier gravitas to the dogged determination he'd come to expect from him... from both of the Winchesters, really. A grudging admiration settled deep, deep inside of him.
He scoffed. "Not just hunters. Plenty of 'my hellspawn', as you called them, will be after me once they hear... to say nothing of the angels that would welcome the advantage, I'm sure." When word got out that he was vulnerable, they would be coming from all sides. There weren't many in Hell still loyal to Lucifer since the Apocalypse had been derailed. And it had been long before the Fall since he'd had any allies in Heaven.
"As far as I'm aware, no one knows but you and I," he admitted.
