I loooovvveddd wyfm, it was fantastic. I love that movie and you did such a good job of like describing the weird time jumps and them reliving the events in a way that I could picture it, but in the weird way that the movie scenes are set up, if that makes sense. Also, I don’t know many people outside of my high school english class that have read The Awakening so when I read that reference I was like Oh!! I know this!! I loved that book too
THANK YOU. The third chapter ended up being my favorite, which is good, because it took ten thousand hours to write. It was up there with the Lena Luthor chapter in Fidelity when it came to number of scenes. It was HARD to capture those edits from the film and how surreal it was to be in Joel’s mind! I’m still never sure if I accomplished it as well as I could have. There’s a point where you just give up on a chapter and post.
And LOL The Awakening. I loved that line. Maybe too dark of a joke?
