canon tunes game:

music in ketterdam and across the world was so good! there were so many different songs, from ravkan hymns to kaelish jigs, sea shanties and party songs and formal songs and all sorts! i used to learn how to play such a wide variety of songs and i miss it so bad. i wish i could remember how any of them went. i always talk about missing my friends or missing my country, but one of the things i really miss most is the music. hearing it, playing it, truly feeling it in a way that i just don't anymore. i felt so connected to music, it was a part of my soul, and now it's not even something i can listen to anymore, let alone play. sorry, this got sadder than i was intending but,,,, i should see if i can find some songs that remind me of home

canon deets!!

jesper fahey smelt like citrus, jurda and gunpowder & had a habit of tapping his fingers on his legs a rhythm as a stim. amongst other things.

matthias was stupidly in love with nina. whenever she was brought up he got this lovely look in his eyes it was adorable

inej liked flowers & floral scents/flavours as they reminded her of home

kaz tended to bonk people with his cane and was the crows’ older brother

ooh ooh ooh!!! for the canon family game! I remember Alys's son, my little half brother! he was born not long after the end of the events of Crooked Kingdom. I don't remember his name but I have very fond memories of Alys visiting Ketterdam occasionally and bringing her son with her. I was an only child for most of my life so it was kinda strange (but ultimately very nice) to have a brother. he was such a sweet kid.
