im finally here with the story of EGGRIK (ie my MH oc Eirik)
gist is he was born as a prince. in egg form. bc hes wyverian. lol
then it was lost for 1 william years until he hatched.....its magic. He's like Drogon. I had to do this because princes are my favorite gender .............................okay

This is my Wilds hunter! A wyverian who was found abandoned, he was raised by humans and eventually became a Guild-authorized hunter. His adoptive father is a high-ranking Guild official.
His name is Eirik and he specializes in bow and dual blades. :>
Just more explanation for his favorite/least favorite monsters:
Seikret: Maybe the obvious choice. He spends a lot of time with his seikret, and they've become true partners. He admires their versatility, their intelligence and their loyalty. I don't think any other monster comes close. Kelbi would be a distant second though, if only because I feel they may be respected/honored in some cultures... I think I'm making that up lol, but there's also the potent medicinal properties of their horns. V useful
Deviljho: I don't think EIrik has even seen a Deviljho. However, ingame, Deviljho is seen as abhorrent even in a world full of monsters. Descriptions call it 'savage' and 'cruel', and while it's really just an animal saddled with an insatiable hunger, I think it really goes to show how people in the world view it. It also has a meatgrinder for a mouth so it's not hard to see why lol. Sighting a Deviljho is probably an emergency situation so I think that would make it a monster bogeyman for a lot of hunters and Eirik is no exception.
