My 2018 NaNoWriMo project - a high fantasy story where two guys that work for a royal family (one is the swordfighting tutor for the royal children and the other is their history tutor) finally retire after decades of service. shortly after getting away to a little cabin there's an apocalyptic event that ruins it. something something they're reincarnations if ancient warriors something something ancient artifacts.

i eventually let it go because it was pretty generic and i'm just not that invested in fantasy worldbuilding anymore. however i did commission @cynegrim to draw the main characters and i still think it fuckin' rules. maybe i'll redraw them someday for old times sake.

11. Do you listen to anything while drawing? If so, what

Oh god I listen to a wide variety of stuff. When I'm working on TMWWB i'll usually listen to some sort of 60s soul/jazz playlist or my TMWWB soundtrack brainstorming playlist, though recently I've been listening to either manlybadasshero playthroughs or skyrim lore videos.

Hi, I really enjoy seeing all your posts and I was wondering, will you definitely leave tumblr? Should I follow you on Dreamwidth to keep reading your posts?

I haven't really decided yet, to be honest. In the first place it depends on whether Tumblr gives me my original account back, because I don't feel comfortable using a site that out of the blue will delete your entire blog beyond recovery for no discernible reason (I genuinely can't think of anything I might have done or posted on tumblr that would be a valid reason for account termination, which is the baffling thing here)

Dreamwidth's statement that "we're bound to obey the law, and sometimes this will mean we'll need to remove certain content. We'll only do this when necessary, and we'll explain why whenever we do" makes me feel a whole lot more confident that the stuff I post won't be deleted without reason or warning.

If I move to Dreamwidth, I'll try to make my posts as open to the public as possible so that you won't necessarily need an account to read the majority of them, but you might want to make one anyway for the purpose of interacting on there.

Anyway, I'm still in the process of deciding and figuring out if Dreamwidth offers the functionality I want, and I'll let you all know here when I've reached a conclusion (unless Tumblr tries more fuckery, in which case I'll post it on Dreamwidth, I guess)
