I’ve been.. stupid busy with school. Genuinely just today, I’d been working on assignments for about four hours. I’ll try to have the next chapter out within the week if my schedule allows it. I’m also busy with some commissions, sooo.. yeah, we’ll see what happens.

I guess I can talk about the conspiracy theorists a little bit. You guys are all so interested in the subjects, and the scientists and theorists get no love! /lh

Ariana is a very talented musician! She can play guitar, piano, and violin, and her singing? Phenomenal. She has what it takes to go pro if she wants to, and she does! The issue with going pro is trying to find an agency that will, like, actually support her and not try to control her music. That’s the only reason she hasn’t hit it big yet. Oli offers to help her as he’s an indie musician himself (his career is starting to take off), and while she does enjoy making music with him, she wants to do this by herself and prove that she really does deserve this. This does make her a bit of a workaholic, though, especially after Grian goes missing. She’s positive he didn’t just run away! And she’s trying to prove that at the same time as she’s trying to become a full-time artist.

How'd the conspiracy team meet?

I think I might write a shorter fic at some point about Cub and Ariana meeting and all that, but here’s the general idea:

Ariana and Oli met in their freshman year of college (or university for you non-Americans). Both of them were music majors, and they grew very close very quickly. By default, Oli also became friends with Grian since Ari and Grian are pretty close.

Cub tried working as an assistant teacher for a while at a local high school, but it didn’t really work out. It wasn’t challenging enough for him, and he started looking for other labs to work at. However, he doesn’t regret his time there because he met one of the brightest (and most unhinged) kids he’d ever met—Tubbo. Tubbo was always eager to learn and use the scientific method, and the two kept in touch after Cub left so that he could recommend Tubbo to big companies looking for outstanding interns.

The Conspiracy team started off with just Cub and Tubbo. Cub asked Tubbo for his assistance since he’s sharp and is able to connect dots and catch little things that Cub otherwise would’ve missed. Tubbo agreed to help to avenge some friends in a sense (remember when Xisuma mentioned a few subjects had died and some families pressed charges?).

I’m still not sure how Ariana and Oli get involved in the team, but it’s something to do with Ari meeting Cub one day. I just.. have to think about how that works..
