#x reader problems

this might be kind of specific, and maybe a bit hypocritical since I have kinda done stuff similar to this:

but I just…really hate it when some people use certain “x reader” tags to complain about how they don’t like the “grosser” “x reader” and think the people who made them were gross.

not only just because like, no one is making you read that, also just because that’s not the “x reader” tags are for. The “x reader” tags aren’t there for you to talk about how you think those “x reader” fics shouldn’t exist, they exist for those “x reader” fics and also for literally all other “x reader” fics of that media(s) or character(s).

you wanna complain about how you hate those “x reader” fics and wish they’d never exist? Sure, fine, whatever. But just…use the general fandom tag, or if you still wanna complain in the “x reader” tags, use the “x reader” tags and just the general “media x reader” tag.

Got sidetracked, I'm sorry-

But yeah! It's like they're ignoring the fanboys and masc presenting fans (I hope that's the right term-). Not all creepypasta fans are fangirls, guys wanna get immersed into fanfics too 😔 it would always take me out of it whenever the reader was referred to ask a she, even while I sometimes use those pronouns, I don't always feel comfortable with them. It sucks ass.

Why do people always write reader characters paired with stoic characters to be opposites? Like, the reader is all bubbly and shows a lot of emotion.

Some people are stoic and like stoic people.

One of my favorite relationships is Kevin and Holt because I heavily relate to their personalities, but every time I go to read a fic about a stoic character that doesn’t express a lot the reader is overly bubbly and I hate it.

Tried to come for me but then basically indirectly proved my point 🤦🏽‍♀️ the same energy isn't kept. Why demonize adults reading about aged up minor characters (I agree that this is mad weird) but then think it's fine for you a minor to be reading smut with adult characters x reader. It's hypocritical. Both have some minor engaging in nsfw material. One a minor character and the other a literal real minor. However one is wrong and the other is okay. (I believe both are wrong). Probably didn't say it well the first time but this is what I basically meant. The energy just isn't kept the same. We all can probably agree adults shouldn't be reading about smut with minor anime characters but why is it okay for minors to read smut about adult anime characters. This is literally my point I wasn't defending anything.
