x-cuff (base cuff) kandi tutorial
X-cuff Tutorial So... this is pretty easy. I just hope I can make it sound as simple as it is! Haha. If this is the first tutorial of mine you're reading, I'm going to apologize now: i'm kind of bad at explaining things. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Also, this was made by me, Penguin. So, if you're going to copy my tutorial, please let me know and give me credit. Thank you! Now, let's get on with it!! Begin by stringing 32 beads on a long piece of string, then tying it off. You'll need to tie it rather tightly, or the cuff won't be as firm. When you're done tying it, pull the string through the first bead, as pictured. Next String 3 beads, and then pull through the fourth bead of the base bracelet. Do this all the way around. REMEMBER: pull tight. You want it to stand up! If you want to stop here, that's cool. You have just made what's called a Double. Then pull the string so it goes through the first and middle beads of the row you just created. Add three beads and pull through the middle of the next segment. Do this all the way around. Continue this one more time around for the full x effect. You can keep going to make it huge, tie it off, or even make a 3-D cuff out of this. I only made a small cuff so I could show you a simple 3-D cuff, too.
