Last day of the week, here we go. Ash can almost feel the weekends at the palm of his hands. If he stretched out his arms a little longer, he’ll be able to reach for it, grab it, and ta-daa! Weekends! ...not that he has anything planned over the weekends, but the idea of being free from school work even for just two days was fun. He didn’t have detention this Saturday, so he’s good!
He was making his way to the cafeteria for lunch. Due to a late submission for a quiz, he’s running late... but nothing a bit of a sprint can fix! He was a bit breathless by the time he reached the already long line at the cafeteria. There were multiple stalls, but he arrived at a bad time-- everyone was already ahead of him! While waiting, he notices the person ahead of the line from him was someone kinda familiar. Name... name... oh!
“Oh, hey! Amanda, yeah?” She doesn’t attend practice much, but he at least knows her a bit. It was kinda weird seeing her all fixed, make-up, perfect hair, and all that jazz. She didn’t look like the type. Then again, he doesn’t really know her outside of basketball. He looked around to search for friends, but they probably already made plans. It was then when an idea comes to mind, “ I don’t think we had lunch before... huh. Are you eating with anyone today?”
