Prompto looked at her best friend, unsure entirely how to proceed with what had been the plan. She took a deep breath, “Ah, fuck it.” And then she’s doing something ridiculously stupid. That if it went wrong, she’d definitely regret later.
In the next seconds, her lips are moving to meet his, and she has to stop herself from overthinking it.
❛ i can’t promise that i’ll do a fantastic job or anything, but i’ve agreed to help. the least you could do is direct me to any sort of problem. ❜

❛ you’re a really talented mage, aren’t you? ❜ the hero crossed his arms over his chest, green hat clenched between his fingers. what a battle! and it was over so quick, too. those monsters didn’t stand a chance against her, anyway.

❛ that’s kakoriko graveyard. the plaque reads that those who died protecting the royal family are buried here. legend says that they continue their work into the afterlife as angry spirits. ❜

He wasn’t okay. Not by a long shot. He was so far from okay. He sat there on the floor, his back leaning against the wall, staring off into space. Blood covered his hands and knuckles, it had splattered and dried on his neck and all over the front of his suit. He had never snapped like that before. But, he had done the deed before he could even stop himself.
“I killed him. He’s dead. I killed him.”
It was disorienting, almost frightening to see Steve like this, so broken, and she didn’t even need to know what happened to understand enough, to be able to make that decision to stay or leave him there. She wouldn’t do that though, no matter how uncomfortable dealing with feelings made her, this was Steve. Her Steve and there was nothing in hell that could keep her from him.
Slowly, she approached him, tentative, mildly nervous for him, and moved next to him, letting her back slide down the wall until she was seated next to him on the floor.
“What can I do Steve?”

Steve smirks when he feels her body freeze. He had her trapped between the floor and his body, which he clearly hadn’t quite thought through. Because she was wiggling against him on purpose, which was very slowly starting to pick away at his resolve. Though, it wasn’t an empty threat. He’d won, fair and square, and she was just retaliating.
Usually, she won. She was better than him, and there was no way he could deny that. But, when she keeps squirming against him he leans down, as promised, as his teeth graze against the soft spot under her ear. “I said quit.” His hands push at her hips, forcing them flat against the mat.
An annoyed huff escapes her lips as she closes her eyes, trying to think of some way that is even mostly clean fighting to get him off. She’s determined to hold to an ‘I let you win’ type of mentality and there’s nothing that’s going to change her mind. Nothing except the scrape of his teeth against a spot he knows is going to get to her and suddenly she’s compliant, though that’s mostly due to the force of his hands holding her down.
She means to make some kind of remark, but instead it’s almost a whimper that leaves her lips at his actions, so she half heartedly spits out a, “Well that’s kinky Rogers..” It’s a last ditch effort to show he can’t completely melt her, but it’s a complete lie. She can only manage it because she’s said it too him so many times, so it’s almost worse than just giving in.

Oh god did you make Alex Tess?
Well. I guess there could be some Tess inspiration there bc they’re both badass ladies xD but honestly I was just thinking of all of them in a Last of Us setting lmao and that was the first thing that came to mind.
