                              // INTRODUCTION //

Literally, three hours after the 39 weeks post was uploaded, Cloud started to have contractions. It wasn’t long at all before her waters broke and we rushed off to the hospital, making a brief pitstop at Cloud’s parent’s house to drop off Archer before getting to the hospital to deliver our baby girl to the world.

The labour was intense. It dragged on.. - Cloud’s words, not mine. I had waited for this moment my entire life. As soon as my tiny daughter was placed into my arms, my world felt complete. It was different to Archer as she was my own flesh and blood.. Yet the only thought that ran through my head was how Archer would react to having his attention being split between himself and the new baby.

It turns out that he reacted amazingly. After 8 hours of being in labour, our daughter - Augustine Ameylia Salvadore, was born. I could not have been prouder of Cloud for all that she went through and I am so thankful to be a father to not only one, but two beautiful babies. Although Archer isn’t mine by blood, he’s still my son and I love him just as much as his new baby sister.

                          19/05/2018 - Milestone

Today marks exactly five months since our little princess arrived. Her face makes me melt every day, just holding her makes me smile. She’s so precious. Her big brother, Archer, is the biggest help for Cloud and me. He tries to soothe her when she cries, always begs to hold her and help feed her, as well as wanting to help push her pram when we go on walks.

Augustine Ameylia Salvadore, you’re gorgeous. She has every single one of us wrapped around her tiny fingers. I can tell she’s going to be a little troublemaker when she gets older.

We cannot wait to see you grow and develop more, little one. Thank you for blessing us with your presence. I constantly thank God for you. You are loved so much.

It has been roughly five months since I last gave you guys an update into our lives and I apologize for that. We decided to take a hiatus from posting for a while whilst we settled into life with a newborn as well as a toddler. Things have been amazing these past few months. I feel like I’ve grown so much, as well as Cloud and the kids.

Little miss Augustine is almost 5 months old and Archer is turning 5 years old this December. I cannot believe how big my babies are getting.. To think that Archer was only a year old when we began dating, it’s crazy. I love my little family so much. A few months ago we finally made it official in the sense that I went through with the step-child adoption process meaning that legally I am now Archer’s father. I couldn’t be happier.

From day one I’ve treated him as my own flesh and blood. Though he isn’t mine biologically, he is my son. I know this was a long overdue post but I will try to update you guys more frequently when I get the chance. As it’s coming up for the little’s one milestone that will most likely be the next post, then Cloud’s birthday.
