Today marks exactly five months since our little princess arrived. Her face makes me melt every day, just holding her makes me smile. She’s so precious. Her big brother, Archer, is the biggest help for Cloud and me. He tries to soothe her when she cries, always begs to hold her and help feed her, as well as wanting to help push her pram when we go on walks.

Augustine Ameylia Salvadore, you’re gorgeous. She has every single one of us wrapped around her tiny fingers. I can tell she’s going to be a little troublemaker when she gets older.

We cannot wait to see you grow and develop more, little one. Thank you for blessing us with your presence. I constantly thank God for you. You are loved so much.

It has been roughly five months since I last gave you guys an update into our lives and I apologize for that. We decided to take a hiatus from posting for a while whilst we settled into life with a newborn as well as a toddler. Things have been amazing these past few months. I feel like I’ve grown so much, as well as Cloud and the kids.

Little miss Augustine is almost 5 months old and Archer is turning 5 years old this December. I cannot believe how big my babies are getting.. To think that Archer was only a year old when we began dating, it’s crazy. I love my little family so much. A few months ago we finally made it official in the sense that I went through with the step-child adoption process meaning that legally I am now Archer’s father. I couldn’t be happier.

From day one I’ve treated him as my own flesh and blood. Though he isn’t mine biologically, he is my son. I know this was a long overdue post but I will try to update you guys more frequently when I get the chance. As it’s coming up for the little’s one milestone that will most likely be the next post, then Cloud’s birthday.

// INTRODUCTION //

Literally, three hours after the 39 weeks post was uploaded, Cloud started to have contractions. It wasn’t long at all before her waters broke and we rushed off to the hospital, making a brief pitstop at Cloud’s parent’s house to drop off Archer before getting to the hospital to deliver our baby girl to the world.

The labour was intense. It dragged on.. - Cloud’s words, not mine. I had waited for this moment my entire life. As soon as my tiny daughter was placed into my arms, my world felt complete. It was different to Archer as she was my own flesh and blood.. Yet the only thought that ran through my head was how Archer would react to having his attention being split between himself and the new baby.

It turns out that he reacted amazingly. After 8 hours of being in labour, our daughter - Augustine Ameylia Salvadore, was born. I could not have been prouder of Cloud for all that she went through and I am so thankful to be a father to not only one, but two beautiful babies. Although Archer isn’t mine by blood, he’s still my son and I love him just as much as his new baby sister.

Baby purchases this week: Nothing new. Best moment regarding baby this week: Knowing she should be here soon. Gender: Girl. Movement: Lots. Food cravings: Nothing. Food aversions: Nothing. Miss anything?: Fitting into my clothes. Belly Button In or Out?: Out. Rings on or off?: On. What I am looking forward to?: Her arriving. Our baby in veggie/fruit terms: Mini-Watermelon.

Food cravings: /Everything/. Food aversions: Nothing now. Miss anything?: Fitting into my jeans and seeing my feet. Belly Button In or Out?: In. Rings on or off?: On. What I am looking forward to?: Giving birth/Meeting our daughter. Our baby in veggie/fruit terms: Romaine Lettuce.

Our little girl is getting bigger as the days pass by, I swear, she’s going to be a little chub when she finally arrives. I cannot wait for her to arrive. A few days ago we visited my parent's house for a family barbeque so Cloud and Archer got to meet more of my large family, all of them completely obsessed with Cloud’s bump. They all shared their congratulations and joy with us.

Now onto Cloud;

How far along: 23 weeks and 6 days! Weight gain?: 2.5lbs. Maternity Clothes?: Still wearing non-maternity clothes, but my jeans are much tighter. Bump status: Definitely bigger than before. Stretch marks?: More have started to appear. Sleep: Not much changed, still the same. Baby purchases this week: A few sets of clothing. Best moment regarding baby this week: Visiting Lorenzo’s family and getting showered with love as well as gifts for the baby. Gender: Girl. Movement: Lots of kicking and moving around. Food cravings: Burgers. Food aversions: Fish. Miss anything?: Nothing. Belly Button In or Out?: In. Rings on or off?: On. What I am looking forward to?: The next update. Cloud is officially 21 weeks pregnant! She’s flying through the second trimester of her pregnancy with no problems at all. I’m so grateful for this blessing and cannot wait for the day to come when I get to hold our beautiful baby girl in my arms.

Maternity wear will definitely be making an appearance soon enough. Bump status: Starting to pop! Stretch marks?: Few. Sleep: Average amount, not much changed. Baby purchases this week: Lorenzo’s already going crazy trying to buy her everything you can imagine, even if we don’t need it. Best moment regarding baby this week: Ultrasound scan with a better picture than before so we can show our families. Gender: Girl. Movement: She’s just recently began to move about in there. //FIRST BLOG POST//

Hello.. I guess? I'm not too sure how to start this off but here it goes! We started off with a pretty busy day, Cloud and I went shopping for some gifts for Archer's upcoming birthday whilst he was spending the day with his grandparents, then we had a family meal after taking the gifts back home and putting them away. Afterwards, we headed back home as it was getting quite late. We then spent the next hour or so watching the television before deciding to take Archer to bed, Cloud getting his pyjamas sorted as he changed into the and climbed into his 'big boy' bed, immediately asking me if I would read him a story.

It was a surprise for me as it's usually his mother that reads his bedtime story to him, not me. I let him pick a book from his shelf before pulling up a stool beside his bed, beginning to read to him whilst showing him the pictures so that he could follow along with me. He fell asleep when I was halfway through the book, tucking him and putting away the book before heading to the bedroom I shared with Cloud.

We were all exhausted from the busy day we all had and definitely needed to sleep, although I thought I'd quickly pop on here to update you all with my first post.
