                              // INTRODUCTION //

Literally, three hours after the 39 weeks post was uploaded, Cloud started to have contractions. It wasn’t long at all before her waters broke and we rushed off to the hospital, making a brief pitstop at Cloud’s parent’s house to drop off Archer before getting to the hospital to deliver our baby girl to the world.

The labour was intense. It dragged on.. - Cloud’s words, not mine. I had waited for this moment my entire life. As soon as my tiny daughter was placed into my arms, my world felt complete. It was different to Archer as she was my own flesh and blood.. Yet the only thought that ran through my head was how Archer would react to having his attention being split between himself and the new baby.

It turns out that he reacted amazingly. After 8 hours of being in labour, our daughter - Augustine Ameylia Salvadore, was born. I could not have been prouder of Cloud for all that she went through and I am so thankful to be a father to not only one, but two beautiful babies. Although Archer isn’t mine by blood, he’s still my son and I love him just as much as his new baby sister.

How far along: 36 weeks. Weight gain?: 4.5lbs. Maternity Clothes?: Those and just underwear. Bump status: Hopefully fully grown. Stretch marks?: Belly. Sleep: Starting to get more, just in time for her arriving. Baby purchases this week: Nothing new. Best moment regarding baby this week: Picking out names. Gender: Girl. Movement: Lots. Food cravings: /Everything/. Food aversions: Nothing now. Miss anything?: Fitting into my jeans and seeing my feet. Belly Button In or Out?: In. Rings on or off?: On. What I am looking forward to?: Giving birth/Meeting our daughter. Our baby in veggie/fruit terms: Romaine Lettuce.

This will probably be the last pregnancy update before our little princess arrives. We’re just counting down the days now.

How far along: 39 weeks. Weight gain?: 5lbs. Maternity Clothes?: They’re the only things that fit currently. Bump status: Fully formed. Stretch marks?: Lots. Sleep: Less. Baby purchases this week: Nothing new. Best moment regarding baby this week: Knowing she should be here soon. Gender: Girl. Movement: Lots. Food cravings: Nothing. Food aversions: Nothing. Miss anything?: Fitting into my clothes. Belly Button In or Out?: Out. Rings on or off?: On. What I am looking forward to?: Her arriving. Our baby in veggie/fruit terms: Mini-Watermelon.

Baby purchases this week: A few things for her room. Best moment regarding baby this week: Feeling her move around more. Gender: Girl. Movement: Lots. Food cravings: None. Food aversions: Pickles /still/. Miss anything?: Fitting into my jeans. Belly Button In or Out?: In. Rings on or off?: On. What I am looking forward to?: Fitting into my jeans! Cloud is officially 21 weeks pregnant! She’s flying through the second trimester of her pregnancy with no problems at all. I’m so grateful for this blessing and cannot wait for the day to come when I get to hold our beautiful baby girl in my arms.

Now passing on to my gorgeous fiancée - 

Hello, guys! Just here to add on to Ren’s update with some pregnancy updates.

How far along: 21 weeks. Weight gain?: 2lbs. Maternity Clothes?: Just getting away with wearing my usual clothes, although my jeans are much tighter than before. Maternity wear will definitely be making an appearance soon enough. Bump status: Starting to pop! Stretch marks?: Few. Sleep: Average amount, not much changed. Baby purchases this week: Lorenzo’s already going crazy trying to buy her everything you can imagine, even if we don’t need it. Best moment regarding baby this week: Ultrasound scan with a better picture than before so we can show our families. Gender: Girl. Movement: She’s just recently began to move about in there. You should’ve seen his face when he first felt her move. Food cravings: Candy. Food aversions: Pickles. Miss anything?: Nothing, yet. Belly Button In or Out?: In. Rings on or off?: On. What I am looking forward to?: The next scan. Our baby in veggie/fruit terms: Carrot.
