What fascinates me about Sir Reginald is that he doesn’t seem malicious in his approach to the kids. Like, he legit seems to be trying his best. But he also has no sense of the validity or power of emotions. Like....of fucking COURSE Vanya’s power is tied to her feelings and her feelings are BAD rn, you dipshit. You’re making her feel bad. Anne's Catwoman was simply amazing! I'll never get over how good her Selina was.
Agreed 100%- Anne’s acting was so good- like you can see exactly when she’s wearing a mask/persona and when she’s being genuine. I loved that deliberate parallel with Bruce vs. Batman (which Rachel voices at the end of Batman Begins); how they’re both in the middle of the spectrum between good and bad. Her physicality in this role was awesome too- I was debating choosing the backflip out of Wayne manor scene, but I preferred the Oops because you can literally see her drop her trembling maid act.
One of my favorite things is a narrative that doesn’t punish a woman for putting herself first over a man, and this one even gives her a redemption arc and doesn’t make her grovel and apologize for choosing her life over his. Just... *happy sigh*

Part of me likes this idea, but another part of me hates it. Because why should we have to put in the effort to leave the main tag? It's those idiotic people that cant properly tag their hypocritical and wrong views that should see themselves out.
i definitely understand and agree with you, but unfortunately i don’t think those people are going anywhere :///. sure, we could block them all, but with how widespread the hate for luther is, there will always be more people giving their unsolicited shitty opinions on him.
i don’t intend on creating a positivity tag as a way of letting them win, but as a safe place for people who like luther to find likeminded people, without having to face any negativity. a place where they can discuss him and the show safely. i see it as a network of sorts, but one were no one has to apply for anything and everyone can use and be a part of, as long as they’re respectful of course.

I think a lot of them aren’t intentionally malicious, they’re just not aware of what abuse and isolation can do to a person so they think that Luther’s behavior is uncalled for and that defending his dad makes him unsympathetic.
