The sun had started to set in the Gardens. The night was clear, though clouds had already started to grow in his mind. The storm was coming, only a few more hours left on the clock. Boots stepped out of the inky blackness that was the Corridor, before his hood lowered to his shoulders. The flash of silver hair tied back into a pony tail, one gold lone eye staring out into the quietness that was the outer limits of the castle. Walking forward slightly to a gray stone wall, glove hand rested on the ease of a stairwell, leading downward. If he still knew his schedule, he’d be here like clock work. Body tensed lightly, pointed ears listening carefully for the sound of rushing wind or the rush of heavy foot steps. Any minute now, he’d either get a punch to the face or a lance to the shoulder...
