“and yet it is the truth.” 

sumin is aware that she lacked evidence to support her truth. she is aware that most people thought she was crazy for even thinking that her uncle could have killed her parents. she is aware that she was seen as emotionless and completely drained of empathy from what people would see at first glance. but the truth was that she had a heart, just like everyone else, and her parents’ deaths had hit her harder than she was able to express through words. all she wished for was closure; she just wished people would find out the truth.

doohwan probably didn’t believe her either and it was because of that, that a frown appeared on sumin’s forehead and she looked down, shaking her head almost in disbelief at herself. how could she have shared her theory with someone knowing very well they wouldn’t believe her?
