Xan Fieri is all but finished. Sunglasses are not staying on well so I’ll have to figure that out. I need to put some bones on the legs as well. Hands (well, just one in the picture) have little metal skelehands on them but they’re hard to see in this picture.

Also very hard to see out of the mask so pics aren’t amazing.

Just spent around 2 hours in a walmart looking for something they didn’t have. 

Luckily it was not all in vain. I did find THESE:

They fit me. But, more importantly:

They fit HIM. One step closer to Xan Feiri.

YUP, I’M ALREADY CRYING

Finished the top part of my skull mask. It’s all paper! I found out about “papercraft” and the wonders of Pepakura. I’m going to modify the bottom jaw pattern. Then I’m going to coat it in fiberglass resin to make it strong, then Bondo to make it smooth. Well, that’s the plan anyway.....

Xan named all his attacks himself and you can’t convince me otherwise.

First coat of spray paint on my Xan helmet. Should I have used primer first? Probably. Did I have any on hand? No. I’m going to put the teeth on between coats because if I put the on now I wouldn’t be able to lie the top part flat on the ground. Also I won’t be trying to spray paint like, around the teeth.
