Under normal circumstances, at about this stage of the process- heâd be near glowing. And not in a figurative sense. In a literal one. The energy from the time vortex would have been swirling all around him, eating itâs way into his head- The mad hatter was mad for a reasons, but here- wherever it was they had landed- he couldnât feel it. There was nothing eating at him, no glowing. Only a clear blue sky and tree branches staring down at him from where he lay on the ground.    Everything felt too solid and to real. Where was the magic? The reality of this world weighed heavy on his shoulders, almost suffocating. If it felt a bit oppressive to him, he could only imagine how River might feel. But at least they were out of prison. A new forest, a new hideaway, had to be better than sitting in a cell waiting to lose their heads, even if it felt off.    âRiver? Are you alright?â With a quick huff he was sitting up to find her, only to let out a relieved breath when he spotted her a mere few feet away.                        âYour hair. I think- I think the journey here frightened it.â    Or was it that big and curly before they had left? He couldnât be sure. But he could start scooting over towards her and checking out this new world.    âWhereâs my hat? You didnât hurt anything did you? Is your arm alright? Your seams didnât rip apart did they?âÂ
