Joining the godlings at the Toga party was the best way to blow off steam after their camps third Thunderdome. Their most nightmarish training by far, where godlings were caught in coils, mercilessly clawed, and at worst petrified to solid rock. Corinth wasn't sure how he'd made it out fairly unscathed as he recalled Medusa nearly snatching him in to join Winter for a squeeze. All around him, the redhead witnessed comrades turned friends being harmed. That was the hardest part, while Corey summoned all he could in order to protect them or at least keep them awake.
Tonight he drank, like he would back on earth, to drown the doubt and shortcomings. It was finished. They had to move forward. Before taking another sip, Cor was certain he caught sight of Atticus leaving the room. His heart told him to follow. Atticus had been there when he'd fallen. Would others do the same for the child of Athena?
"Atty." Cor casually called after, just slightly louder than the music. "Would it be... a good time to talk?"
