“SOLAR SPIRIT”

One of best-known deities in the Hindu pantheon, Ganesha is revered for his wisdom and cleverness. The patron of the letters and learning, powerful enough to remove obstacles or ensure success, he is usually the first deity called upon in Hindu prayers. StreetArtSF says this 2012 Ganesha and flower scene in Cypress St. (Alley) first brought Xavi’s visionary work to their attention and made them quick admirers of his unique layered stencil technique. Captivated by the colors, shapes, letters, and characters of the Washington D.C. graffiti around him growing up, and pushed by an amazing High School art teacher but unable to afford art school, Panneton taught himself how to connect the visions in his head with the emotional component in his heart, creating a “joyful visual experience easily accessible to people from all walks of life.” After spending most of his career in San Francisco Panneton now lives in Ashland, Oregon.  @xavi_artist  @precitaeyes

Aster Lutefisk, as a (early) birthday present for @lifeblossom!! i would kill for both soren or aster in a heartbeat. He went blind and got some pretty monstrous features but hes gonna be ok i think
