You have it in writing || Xavier & -A
Xavier Elliot. Baberton native. Born here. Will probably die here. Writing a book about Annie Pierce. -A went through the information she had about Xavier in her mind as she made her way to the Coffee Bean. She knew about the book, though nobody else did. Xavier seemed to be keeping it under wraps due to the press and the hype or something... which was a clever move. But Xavier was just like the rest of them, in her eyes, as useless and stupid as they were. The book worried -A for a couple of reasons. What information had he managed to dig up. Was there something in there about her? Something that, even without him realising, could lead back to her? She didn't know and she hoped not... killing somebody else wasn't on her agenda for the time being but she would have to find that out for herself.
She pushed open the door to the Coffee Bean, looking around for Gemma Harris first of all, but of course she wasn't working today. She'd had that 'accident' at the school, when -A had caused that light to fall on her, knocking her unconscious. It was a shame she hadn't died really but Gemma was fun to play with so.. maybe it was good that it only served as a warning. Deaths were messy. Accidents were much easier to sweep under the rug, to write off as simply that. Accidents. Did Gemma even remember? Did she still have that bracelet and the hospital records? -A felt that she would find out soon... but Gemma wasn't her focus today. Her focus was Xavier.
She pranced up to the counter, leaning on it while she waited to be noticed. Waiting to be noticed was something she did often, and it never happened. Which was lucky because she wouldn't have been able to get away with any of the things she'd gotten away with if she was noticed, if she was popular. Or maybe she would have. -A was sneaky. Very sneaky. Nobody had figured her out because she made sure they wouldn't.. it was like there was two of her. -A and the stupid, pathetic, other part of her. The one that nobody noticed or cared about. But everybody noticed -A. Everybody cared that -A was lurking... though nobody really spoke about it to anybody else. It wasn't like the whole town knew that she was tormenting them all. That was the fun part. "Oh, um..." She pretended to be taken by surprised when somebody finally turned to ask her for her order. "Just a black coffee please." She smiled sweetly and waited, tapping her nails on the counter as she scanned the room.
