HEHEEEEE YES they're one of my original projects and are loosely based on Levi and Hange's personalities and relationship from AoT! Lysistrata (they/she) is the child of a minor dragonlord but they never bonded with a "normal" dragon, meanwhile Laertes is a demigod dragon who can take human form and was locked out of his kind's dimension, and became friends with Lysistrata. They entered their country's dragon corps together and fight in wars and are really cool and are basically soulmates 🤭 Lysistrata is very curious about dragonkind in general and would've been a researcher or dragon vet had their parents not being so insistent that she joins the army, and she's a literal ray of sunshine with hidden trauma, meanwhile Laertes is a perpetually stressed and angry demigod dragon shapeshifter who hides a very soft side and kinda doesn't even wanna go home anymore because he's considered weak among the other deities.

Also idk if you have the DVDs but the commentary here is so fucking funny, I think it's Sendhil (the guy who plays Mohinder) and somebody else, they talk about how Milo (Peter's actor) was definitely trying to slip him tongue.

The whole cast, crew, directors, writers, everybody was in on it. You can't blame us for seeing what's there!!!

I tend to be more of a writer than a reader (especially when it comes to this ship) but these are the ones that I've got saved in my bookmarks:

Nathan Petrelli & Peter Petrelli - Runaways - this is a fic where teenage Nathan has to babysit a bunch of the Company's children (including Peter) and inadvertently finds out about powers before his parents/the Company want him to. Mostly Nathan-centric and it doesn't delve too deeply into Peter and Nathan's relationship (since, yaknow, Peter is a literal child) but I remember it being a really good exploration of Nathan's character

Nathan Petrelli/Peter Petrelli (the groundhog day one is really good, also Fabrisse has written a bunch of good ones, I also really enjoyed their Jim Profit crossovers lmao)

A lot of people also like Ritual a lot, which is a series of Petrellicest fic. I've read one or two - they're well written but don't quite jive with the way we see Petrellicest - but YMMV!

Cicadas are a very interesting choice 🥰☺️ could you please elaborate?

ofc!! OK so when I was little, my grandpa taught me how to catch cicadas (those BIG CHONKY ones but also the smaller kind) with my hands and hold them so I wouldn't squish them, I'd let them chill and walk on my hands and everything and it's still one of my fondest memories. We'd hunt cicadas for HOURS together 😂 so I learned to love cicadas, i even have a lil cicada art print in my room by one of my fave greek artists (@stivaktis uwu ).

My grandpa passed away a few weeks ago, so I've been reminiscing a lot. So when I saw that post, cicadas immediately came to mind! They're funky loud lil fellas and I love them.

(*ofc we always let them go afterwards, never harmed them or put them in cages or anything).
