xB was actually raised in the ocean. since he is a hybrid, he could go on land no problem, but there was simply no need in his first few years. as he grew older he did start to go on land, but it did coincide with pretty harsh things happening at his home monument, leading to The most traumatic event, where his monument was destroyed and he was left to wonder around the world and even hopping other servers (maybe trying to find something? clinging to the idea that some of his family escaped? it's a little sad to think that his family would've left him, but it's much more sad to think they didn't survive at all)
anyways, his most happy years and the childhood is heavily associated with being under water, and when he occasionally regresses, he always finds his way to the ocean and just swims through kelp and corals. it's actually quite hard for him to walk in his regressed state, even if he regresses to the age where a human baby could already walk, but he always finds his way to the water. it causes the hermits that usually look after him Much distress, but they try to keep up with a little very-quickly-swimming-away xb as much as they can.
