Daemones in tenebris (closed)
Even when he was young, Roderich was raised to believe of demons. After all, demons forever lurked in the dark, their pray being those who paid no heed to the warnings of those who were wise, who knew how demons worked. The brunet knew, even while working, he’d attract those demons, those wary of him and his position. No one knew where or how this Edelstein boy, honestly barely a man when he first rose to the position in the Kingdom of Clubs, had come to such a position. Perhaps witchcraft? Perhaps he was the demon, considering how the King had so willingly given him such position from mere violin and piano playing.
One thing demons learn from the other demons, is to be watchful of all the other demons. It’s why Roderich was wary now, confronted with such an odd man in front of him that simply just wasn’t there for one moment, and then just was. Here he was, in the middle of paperwork, slight ink smudges on pristine white gloves with his hands, and out of nowhere this man appears in his office, before slumping on the sofa against the wall. What more, there was no mark that he could see, just...oddness. Silvery-white hair, brilliant scarlet eyes that made Roderich realize that yes...yes this was the demon his parents had always warned him of. How he always lurked in the dark.
“I’m sorry, but could I ask you to leave? I’m in the middle of work, and generally people don’t just sort of appear here without knocking and a proper entrance.” Daemones in tenebris...this is a demon in the dark and shadows of his room.
