[x]🧱/[x]brick -
a term with several possible meanings - one can identify with only one, multiple, or all.
a term where [x] is the foundation of one's identity;¹ a term where one's identity is made up of [x](s);² a term where one's identity is made up of similar, almost identical, but slightly different [x](s);³ a term where one's identity is made up of many [x](s), but each [x] holds importance and weight;⁴ a term where one's identity as [x] feels as though it's been built through labour (whether one's own or another's);⁵
made because i like the idea of bricks being an important, fundamental building block of something greater, yet one can look at each brick and see its imperfections.
