THE RULES: Each player of this game starts with the 6 things about the muse. People who get tagged need to write a post of their own 6 things as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged.
Disenwe despises being crowded. A close encounter with death made him rather wary of such a disadvantage. He always ensures he has plenty of room to maneuver and when without it, violence becomes a near instant necessity.
When his son, Duthiel, was still present in his life Disenwe would often take him on small journeys through the Greenwood. He loved that part of his parenthood.
During battle, his movements are precise and sweeping in motion, especially with that of his sword. He prides himself on his skill in this technique of wide arches and dangerous forward lunges.
While elven hunters are well known for their skill in archery, Disenwe is particularly infamous for using his bow like a staff in close combat. This has earned him many lessons in proper bow care by that of his friend and superior, Matwenlith.
He reacts violently to comments on his lack of a romantic relationship. Several have suffered a rather sound collision of knuckle to jaw. There are greater repercussions when his late wife is mentioned.
Disenwe prefers to sleep near the river and has carved out a niche where he finds rest when his patrols are over. The woodland kingdom brings far too many sore memories, and while his tragedy is long passed, he cannot bring himself to return to his true home.
(outofpoisons; I did not realize someone had tagged me for this. I'm glad I found the post when I did.)

❝I want the K.❞
19. Forceful Kiss
Months had passed, months since the Battle of the Five Armies, months since each side lost warriors, comrades, friends. Months that would have been enough for any other, months that would be enough to give someone time to grieve, time to come to terms with everything that had happened. But for an elf? For one whose life lasted so much longer than any other, for one whose life remained while other's perished? It would never be enough.
Death had covered the battlefield, more than the young she-elf had ever seen before in her short years. Of course it was nothing she couldn't handle, and yet, the young dwarf's death had affected her. It had hit her. Harder than she had assumed it ever would have. Did she love the young dwarf? Only time would have told but that had been stolen and it was never to be reversed.
She was numb. Not a tear had been shed and even now, the young she-elf had taken to secluding herself. Her eyes darted across the blackness that had enveloped the sky, only a few twinkling stars for light in the forest. "Do you wish for time spent alone, Mellonamin?"
Turning to face her friend, her eyebrows rose just gently in question before they reverted to the frown she had become accustomed to wearing. "I do know you worry, you do not hide it well," she commented before taking a step forward followed by another, the gap between them closing, her eyes never straying from his. "I am hoping this will pass. No, I need this to pass. This... grief. It is more than I ever thought I could shoulder...--" she uttered, her voice low as she finally dropped her gaze between them, the gap a few mere inches now. "I am numb..."
Lifting her gaze to meet that of her friend's, her eyes glistened for the first time in months. "Legolas, Mellonamin..." her voice wavered, hands now resting against her friend's cloth, bunched together, her knuckles white. Taking a moment, a sharp intake of breath, she pushed forward, her lips crashing against his forcefully, unlike her usual graceful movements. This was not thought out, this was not an act of wanting. It was a need. It was desperation. It was grief.
psa; if you abuse puns in any way shape or form you should know you're constantly punning the risk that i will fall a little bit in love with you.
