Cloudy Sky Day
This year I've decided to have a lil' event for myself where, on this year's Cloudy Sky day (a day dedicated for my ship) I would draw a wedding themed pieces of Ame and Xemnas and commissioning a few pieces as well ! The day being January 13 🤍
It might not be much but I'm particularly proud of the piece I made for as I can see how my art evolved since last year thanks to the help of my friends 🩷 I'm extremely happy with the design of both Ame and Xemnas !
Ame looks like a princess and there is no way I could give Xemnas a plain and simple black suit ! It's too plain for a man like him but I also didn't want to go too extravagant as well.. I'm glad with what I settled with 🌷
The first commission, this one is by Riechily ! As simple as this one is I really love how adorably cute it is !
Ame and Xemnas are so tiny in this one and I just adore how Xemnas is holding a bouquet for her, this is absolutely sweet and it fit the flower decorations and the keychain style ! 🩵
The second commission is by Eodo ! Fun fact: this is not the first time I commission her✨
This piece also has a version without the veil but I prefer it on and at least we can still see her rose bun ! Before working on my own piece I made a pole on Instagram to see which hairstyle people preferred between this and rose inspired hairstyle and to be honest I'm glad this one won 🎀
What I particularly like about this one is the way they both look at each other ! Personally I think Xemnas looks the best in this piece.. I really like the sea in the backgrounds of the scene too, anything water based look fantastic with these two in my opinion 🙏🏻
This one is technically the fourth one but I want to keep the third one for last as it is the piece I've been dreaming of since December jdjswjzn
ANYWAY this absolutely beautiful piece was made by Morirbun and is the only solo piece I commissioned for this event ! I think Ame looks the most beautiful in this piece, the colors are just so appealing to me in this one and the clothes and expression are nailed to a point 🩷🩷
A part of me regret not asking a piece with both her and Xemnas together but at the time I simply spent too much money so a solo piece it is ! I don't mind too much because of how pretty Ame is here and it makes for a stunning profil picture haha ✨
Now for the piece I've been dreaming of ever since I got the idea of making this event, my personal favorite and most detailed commission I ever had so far.. I present to you the fourth and last commission of the Wedding event by the lovely Mary ! ✨🎀🩷
I will say this, Mary is the number one artist I trust the most when it comes to my commissions, she has never disappointed me, she is very respective and even get really nice ideas to make the pieces looks better ! It was her idea to had this beautiful flower frame, she just asked me what flower to draw 🌷 I picked blue hydrangeas and white roses as these are the flowers are think of when I think of Ame and Xemnas, Ame being the hydrangea and Xemnas the white rose 🩵
Honestly I couldn't have been happier with this piece, this is absolutely my favorite ever, I'm so happy ! 🩷
All in all, I'm extremely happy with the result of these commissions but I'm surprisingly proud of my own work as well, be it the designs but the piece itself as well.. I'm unsure what theme I will piece for next year but it was very fun to do 🤍🩵
