She didn’t expect much. Looks, maybe. Curious glances that made her circuits prickle with anticipation. The occasional brush against her, either by accident or on purpose. Getting bumped into either due to the movements and force of the train or the simple lack of courtesy displayed by most humans.

But what she didn’t expect was this man her height to fall so carelessly onto her. The WR400 quirked a curious eyebrow at the man as she got a good look at him. He was cleanly shaven, a clear complexion, and he was rather cute. And with how clumsy he was, he would probably be easy to get to go home with her.

And then she’d squeeze everything she could out of him before his use was expended to her. “You should be more careful.” She cautioned him, an air of intrigue to her voice as she made no movements to push him off her.

Interview with the writer

I don’t really know what I should talk about. I don’t put much thought into it, just writing what comes to my mind first. It’s rare that I tweak my replies before I sent them, usually when the words are out they are not mine anymore, they are free to go into the world.

Most of the time I’m more interested in moving the story forward or describing what my characters are doing than thinking about how to make it sound nice. Most of the time I write the same as I would talk... or at least I imagine that’s how I would talk if I had enough time to actually think while I talk.

There are some things I do pay attention to, they are just minor and I don’t think people really notice it. But Nines never refers to an android as dead, no matter if he is a deviant or a machine. Androids are either shut down, offline ore broken, but never dead. Gavin grinds his jaws a lot and I often describe him as tense. The other Nines changes between personal pronouns or ‘it’ when referring to an android, depending on who he is talking to and how pissed he is. I just love these little details and sometimes I stop and go back in a reply to change some of these things but that’s the only time I would actually go back.

Sixty volunteers at a facility that helps Red ICE addicts try to get clean. Some are there by court order while others came on their own trying to get better. Either way it’s a rough process and he typically helps as a form of exposure therapy talking to them and helping them understand androids did have emotions and personalities now. Occasionally he gets called to a room to help calm someone down in the middle of the night, since he tends to work the afternoon or night shift depending on the day.

If anyone gives him an order [even if it’s one he agrees with and will follow] he tends to flip off the person giving it.

He cries when he’s really happy, so if someone gives him a carefully thought out gift or invites him along for a spontaneous group activity he’ll tear up.

I do since I find myself scrolling through the dash every day to catch up on everyone's posts! Sometimes it leaves me insecure about my own writing though. I end up comparing myself to the wonderful muns on here and I wish I didn't, but it happens anyway. You guys have the talent, I appreciate having the privilege of threading with your muses.

Reading back on my old threads is something I do often too. It's nice to know where I improved and there are interactions I treasure. Especially my boyfriend's roleplays because Norman's development came from those. We've been threading every day together for years and it gives me so much material to look back on.
