"You're bleeding!" [Worried Leah is worried.]

     The agent trembled, Tripto infused blood trickling almost icily down pale flesh. His head bowed as he feigned the embrace of unconsciousness. Lulled to the state of awareness, Norman inhaled shakily. There was the softest of nods as he gradually sank to the ground, resting along the knees to observe the young woman, maintaining his gaze to soothe. “Leah,” he began gently, the tear in laceration spreading as his arm lifted, hand resting along the shoulder delicately.

     ”Wh..why are you worried about me? Ah-Ah’m okay… ” he tried, frowning at his own attempt and speaking once more, lips tugging into a gentle smile as he brought her into a softened hold, arms enveloping the smaller frame, careful. Not a single trace of crimson leaked through in his effort to exhibit signs of well being. She was strong and he’d commend her at a better state of mind. Protectively maintaining his embrace, digits lacking warmth entangled through her hair as he kept her close and at last, he sank away just to keep her gaze, coloration fading along ethereal hues. “Everything’s okay..” he’d not lie to her. Yes… it hurt, but she was alright. It’s what mattered to him. Matters of what little he had in family…

It was strange. He knew he had found Clementine, he had met Duck. He just didn't actually think he'd hope to find another teenager or child in such times; he would understand why when the dawn of the apocalypse had risen but for about 5 months in he had shattered any thought of discovering someone just like Clem or the other. It wasn't time to fester inside of his mind, though, he couldn't just stand glaring upon the other.

They had forgotten. Maybe it was to blow off steam? The rustles were approaching them. Shaking, Bihai pointed their rifle at the direction of the noise.

The shot rang out through the air as the lurker fell limply to the ground. Sophie wasn't sure what had come over her. Firing a shot was dangerous, the sound would attract other nearby walkers. But then again, she felt like she couldn't leave the little girl now standing in front of her to fend for herself.

Vaguely noting they'd have to get out of there soon lest they want to get overwhelmed, she hoped the gunshot hadn't scared the younger one too much. In hindsight, that was a pretty silly thing to worry about, wasn't it? Gunshots should be pretty common nowadays, kid was probably used to it.

Regardless, Sophie holstered her gun quickly, and lowered herself to the girl's height, trying to seem as nonthreatening as she could. "Are you okay?" she asked, bringing up a sweet smile.

"My name's Sophie. Are you here on your own?" she inquired, looking around for a moment. There was no way she was on her own right? From where Sophie was crouched, the kid looked unarmed, which made it even more unlikely. Damn, she hoped whoever she was with was friendly.
