Rewatching Xena with my mother. She’s never seen the show all the way through. Only a couple of episodes.

Quite the experience. We’re up to ‘Prometheus’.

I can’t tell her how much this one is a mind-fuck yet obviously but it makes me visibly cringe to see Xena and Hercules kissing and then Gabrielle and Iolas kissing. I want to tell her that it’s really Xena/Gabrielle and Hercules/Iolas that are the real soulmates.

But I know that would spoil major plot points for her.

Chariots of War is a good episode for a number of reasons Lucy Lawless being incredibly sweaty while having first aid performed for her arrow wound is just one of them.

Totally forget 2x13 was really when they made it undeniable canon. Gabrielle saying there was so much she wish she could’ve told her before she died, including that she loved her. Then Xena full on kissing Gabrielle while in Autolycus’s body — with “his” hand on her ASS. 💀
