I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before but could a meteor kill Baldur? One made of minerals not found on earth of course
If it was made out of minerals not found on Earth, then I see no reason why not.

My daemon is sprawled on the bed in his tiger form laying his head on the pillow next to mine and hoping that I'll just go to bed already
Everyone seems very sleepy right now, and their equally sleepy daemons are the only responsible ones saying to go to bed xP
Well, a bit of advice to your daemon from mine; your tiger form is perfect for ambushing and laying on top of your human so they can’t move and thus MUST go to sleep. Just an insider’s tip. Totally not from experience~
Happy birthday!!! May you have the most wondeful day and year :)
thank you so much!

I expected that but it seems a little cruel to me.. how do they know that you could find somewhere to go within that time? A week sounds much more reasonable…
I agree. And if I’m packing the last things into my car at 12:01, I doubt they’ll call the cops on me.
How they can kick you out like that? Apartments can't even kick you out like that!
This “apartment” is part of the conservation center campus. It’s attached to one of the buildings. It’s not like I signed a lease for it.
I'm really interested in how you venerate your ancestors. Where do you draw the line on who can be venerated? Would it be only long dead animals like the megalodon or could it be anyone even now since we're all related? - devotee-of-anup
I’d say it could be any species, since all life did spring from LUCA (Last Universal Common Ancestor). And, arguably, since a lot of present-day species have been around since the end of the last ice age--some much earlier--most of them are arguably “ancestors” to us. H. sapiens sapiens is a shockingly young species, considering where we are now.
I personally go as far back as I do because I put a strong emphasis on the evolutionary part of “evolutionary ancestor veneration”. Part of my path involves finding the developmental milestones in evolution--development of the notochord, beginnings of tetrapods, early mammals--so that’s gonna take me way beyond the Pleistocene. But that’s me and my practice.
I’ve had people asking me if it’s “okay” to venerate species like Smilodon and dinosaurs, even though they aren’t that closely related to our own, and my answer is always a resounding “PLEASE DO!”. As I’ve walked this path over the last year, I’ve come to realize that our most ancient ancestors can choose us to venerate them as much as we choose them.
@filmelf has the most amazing relationship with the spirit of Lucy, which I am very jealous of. @frozenbullies venerates the genus of Canis and has met a truly remarkable spirit through their work.
All ancestors, if you ask me, are valid ancestors. If someone feels called to venerate a particular species, geologic time and taxonomy should never stand in their way.
The only species I’m not sure would fit into an evo ancestor practice would be our own species, Homo sapiens sapiens, and that’s just because, well... wouldn’t that just be “ancestor veneration”? Haha!

That is the definition of other-hearted! Being kin means you are that character but hearted means you have a close connection with them!
can other-hearted people also experience a need to not want to be followed by/interact with others who are kin or other-hearted with a particular character too?
My favorite stim are these cool meditation balls I have. It's two balls that are really smooth and both sit together in your hand so you can twirl them plus they have bells on the inside that jingle!
oh, my cousins used to have some of thosethey were really cool! maybe ill put that on a gift list
