HIs eyes are naturally red, but the only contacts he could buy were coloured ones so now his eyes are blue.
xenoblade 2 is a very pretty game
Vandham teaching Rex about his favorite hobby, growing trees. (I'm not even making this up, there was an NPC in Garfront that said this. Apparently Vandham grew that one orange tree that looks over Garfront).
Rex found Vandham right outside Garfont, kneeling on the ground. He jogged over. “Are you alright?”
The man turned and looked up at him. “Yeah, I’m fine. Just working on this lil’ guy here.” He pointed at what he was working on.
“Is that... a tree?” Rex asked.
Vandham nodded. “I like to grow them,” he replied. “If you’d like, I could show you.”
“Sure,” Rex replied, kneeling next to him.
“The first thing you need is the seed, which depends on the tree. For saffronias, like this one, the seeds are inside the trunk and fall out during ether storms. The soil also needs to be good, though saffronias can grow pretty much anywhere so it’s not too much of a problem with this kind.”
Rex watched as Vandham gently plantedthe tiny little tree in the patch of ground.
“Once its grown big enough, the seedling can be transplanted away from the mother tree,” Vandham continued. “In nature, a gudt of wind would make it fly off, but here, we just accelerate the process by planting it ourselves.”
“Is there anything we have to do after?” Rex asked.
“Not much, saffronias are tough trees even if they don’t look it,” he answered. “Just have to make sure they don’t get eaten by the wildlife, but it never comes this close to Garfont. If it’s been awhile without an ether storm I’ll give it a little water, though.”
“Can I help watch it?”
Vandham slapped his back, almost making him fall over. “Of course, kid. Maybe you’ll even grow your own saffronia one day.”
Rex looked forward to it.
I've had Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna - The Golden Country for I think over a year now and apparently I've never opened the box. Decided to change that. Registered the game on my Switch so when I'm finally ready to play it, I won't have to wait 10 days to see my play time
